India - Volunteering

Eligibility. Who can apply

Applicants must be:
• Between the ages of 18-60;
• Have basic English language conversation skills.

Required documents

• Completed application form;
• Two passport-sized photographs;
• Booking fee of £55.

Work permits and visa

Participating volunteers must obtain a tourist visa from their home country, valid for the period of intended stay/volunteer assignment. The necessary endorsements to work as volunteers will be arranged by us once you reach India.

How to apply for a programme?

Step 1

Read carefully the programme description and eligibility criteria. Then fill out the online application form and pay the booking fee in order to apply.

Step 2

Global Choices confirms your booking and place on the programme. We appoint a programme coordinator to lead you through the rest of the application process until you are successfully placed.

Step 3

You communicate with your programme coordinator and exchange all necessary documents and forms. Once the placement is confirmed you will need to purchase insurance and pay the remaining programme balance together with other fees (if appropriate).

Deadlines

The volunteer programmes are available throughout the year. We must receive your application form at least one month before your intended start date.
