Programme Cost

Booking fee: GBP 100 (non-refundable administration fee which must be paid when you get the confirmation about eligibility from our programme coordinator.)

Programme fee £250 (this is paid once we have confirmed a placement for you.)

What Is Included In The Fee

• Assistance with the volunteer work placement;
• Arrange for accommodation;
• General orientation about the culture and customs in Costa Rica;
• Full-time support in Costa Rica;
• Internationally recognized certificate at the end of the volunteering;
• Social and cultural activities with other Global Choices participants;
• Free Internet access, mailbox and fax reception.

What Is Not Included In The Fee

• Return airline ticket to Costa Rica;
• Expense of reaching your city of placement;
• Accommodation;
• Travel medical insurance.

Other Costs

The participant will need to get health and accident insurance. All candidates can apply for their travel insurance through Global Choices. Details of a variety of insurance coverage schemes can be found on our website. This payment should be made after the volunteer work placement is arranged.
